Within 24 compromized privatizations the European Commission, in accordance with the reports provided by the Anti-corruption Council and insight into the entire documentation of ATP Vojvodina, has found out that it is the only case in which the investor, but not the state, is the one who suffers the damage.

I have invested 30 million Euros in ATP Vojvodina company; beside 300 already working, I employed 200 more workers and it was planned that, after completion of the second phase, total number of the employees would be 1200. Although it was the biggest domestic investment, the state did not give me any kind of subsidy which is normally given to foreign investors.

Instead of developing my activities, I have been conducting court proceedings for already ten years because the authorities from the City of Novi Sad, after I had built a new intercity and international bus station and specialized service, did not comply with the contract which used to be the basis of the launched investment so the company went into bankruptcy. Since 2012 there are obvious pressures exerted by the executive authorities on the police, prosecutors and judges and the aim of that is to proclaim an investor suffering the damage to be a culprit and to take away his funds that he was gaining himself for 35 years as a successful businessman. I have twice addressed the Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić (the letters to be found in the attachment), but with no effect.

Prime Minister is very familiar with the case of ATP Vojvodina and, when he was a guest in the programme Ćirilica hosted by Mr Marić on 26 March 2012, he said the following about me:

In this way, I am publicly sending to the media the questions for Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić:

1) Why are You, Aleksandar Vučić, directly from your office managing and putting pressure on all the court disputes and on everything taking place about Ilija Dević and ATP Vojvodina? The Chapter 23 has been open, where is rule of law there?

2) Besides the pressure put on the revision process at the Supreme Court of Cassation, why did you, at Your Party Presidency meeting, forbid everybody to give any kind of statement relating ATP Vojvodina to media? You did that after the company had received final, executive court decision in January 2013 value of which had been about 14 million Euros, meaning that the company could have gone out of bankruptcy and continue its work.

3) Mr Vučić, You know perfectly well that the final executive decision confirmed that the City and Republic authorities had not obeyed their contractual obligations and they were responsible for multi-million damage inflicted to the company. Are You through Your actions protecting holders of public office – President of Serbia, Mayors of Novi Sad, President of Novi Sad Assembly, President of Serbian Assembly, President of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Vice President of Vojvodina – or are You blackmailing them by means of the case in which the only stake are the funds I was gaining for 35 years and 500 employees who lost their jobs after bankruptcy of the company?

4) Dear Prime Minister, why do You always, after visits of the officials from the European Parliament, European Commission and the European Commission Directorate who show that they are interested in the case of ATP Vojvodina as the only one in which the investor suffers the damage, intensify the pressure on me and my family through Your reins of power?

5) Mr Vučić, I gained my funds as a private businessman till 1990 in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, but not in one of the thieving privatizations. During Your term of office, investigations against those who have robbed Serbia have allegedly been open, but it is obvious that nothing has happened to them and they have been successfully cooperating with Your brother and people You trust?
